My first task in assembling this book was to see if I could retrieve my posts from Facebook. I wrote a lot about my descent into this maelstrom (thanks E. A. Poe.) Many are angry at me, my family and the world in general. They set the tone for something far more sinister. Something that should have been a tip-off. Their inclusion is intrinsic to the “truth” of the tale.
Many are petty. Many are vindictive. Some are unfortunately brutal. But, they are necessary.
Downloading the archival information from Facebook was a breeze. There was a delay of about a half day. I didn’t download everything, I didn’t download the images I posted. In retrospect, the images could provide additional evidence of the downfall as they progress from images of people and places to available flora and fauna and fractals that I have generated.
I will likely retrieve them and upload them to this site.
I’m not sure how this book-thing will go. But, we must take that first step if we are ever to complete the journey of a thousand miles.
Thanks for reading,
Jay C. “Jazzy J” Theriot
